Bill Hawes (Captain):
Captain Bill brings a wealth of knowledge to his leadership position. His many years of sailing and motor yachting in the Captain’s role help him provide quiet guidance of a well-coordinated and professional crew. As the son of Navy personnel, Bill was provided a coast-to-coast upbringing from which he developed an inherent love of the water. His love of sailing began at age 10 on the Western shore of the Saint Mary’s River in Southern Maryland. Bill has progressed through all levels in yachting, captaining an impressive fleet of top-notch vessels, both sail and power, including S/Y Atlantis, S/Y Mustang, S/Y September Morn, M/Y Sacajawea and M/Y Martha Anne. Bill holds a USA 1600 Ton Master License, supplemented by a British MCA and Cayman Islands compliance equivalency certificate.
He has covered extensive sea miles through the Caribbean, Mediterranean, South Pacific, Bahamas, New Zealand and the Galapagos Islands, the East and West coast of the US as well as trans-Atlantic and Pacific voyages. Bill is also an avid free diver and windsurfer.

Damon Smallwood (First Mate)
Damon grew up in Long Beach, California. He graduated college with a degree in Marketing while also playing baseball. After graduation Damon joined the yachting industry working on a charter yacht throughout the Caribbean and the East Coast of the US. Also during his career he did a 2 year circumnavigation on a converted trawler that was a mothership to a 72ft sportfish. For the past 3 ½ years Damon has been the captain on Pershing Express yacht where he spent seasons in the Mediterranean, Bahamas, and US. He enjoys active pastimes such as scuba diving, snow skiing, and hiking.

Dan St. Denis (Bosun):
Dan was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and grew up around boats while going on his small family fishing trips. He studied firefighting in college and afterwards moved to St. Maarten to pursue a career in yachting. Since then he has done 2 Atlantic crossings and has had the pleasure of spending time along the coast of Egypt in the Red Sea. Recently Dan has completed his 200 ton Yachtmaster License course. In his spare time he enjoys water sports, scuba diving, travelling, yoga and kite surfing.

Nick Orr (Chief Engineer):
Nicholas Orr was born in New Zealand and grew up in Newport Beach, California.
His mechanical background has gone full circle, it started in the marine industry years ago at a small shipyard in Newport Beach, California. After finishing his apprenticeship he moved on to the automotive trades as a master Jaguar technician, which progressed to teaching automotive engineering at a Polytechnic in New Zealand. After teaching for four years he took a sabbatical for what was meant to be only one year.
During this time off he discovered yachting and never made it back to teaching.
Nicholas loves to spend his free time at his home in Washington State with a wrench in one hand messing about in his workshop. He is a passionate fisherman from fly fishing to deep sea fishing and also enjoys sailing and riding classic motorcycles.

Nicholas McInnis (Deckhand/ 2nd Engineer):
Nick was born on Prince Edward Island, Canada. He was raised in a rural fishing community where he developed a love for the ocean, fishing lobster and tuna in the Gulf of St Lawrence with his father. It was this beginning that brought Nick to discover the adventure in the yachting industry. Nick has a keen interest in engineering along with a strong background in IT, and recently completed his AEC at Maritime Professional Training.

Murphy Patterson (Deckhand):
Murphy is originally from central Ontario. During his childhood he developed a strong passion for the outdoors, and more specifically the water. He went to school for Outdoor education and then moved to Florida to take yacht courses and break into the yachting industry. Murphy is very active and enjoys spending his time climbing, biking, and running. He enjoys travelling and seeing new places and has found the perfect way to experience both on motor yachts.

Theresa Manwaring (Chief Stewardess):
Theresa grew up on a small farm in Kansas. She loved being active outdoors and spent her childhood riding horses, fishing, and lots of weekends boating and waterskiing at the small lake nearby. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Marketing and worked the next 15 years in the retail world, living in the Midwest. Working 11 years with the same company, she moved her way up to District Manager. Her love of the water and ocean was always calling her to vacation on the coast or in the Caribbean. When a position came open to move to Florida, Theresa jumped at the chance. Yachting captured her attention as a way to combine her love of the water with the excitement of seeing new places. She has always loved meeting and working with people from all walks of life. Theresa spent 2 ½ years on her first boat, traveling through Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. She has sailed through the Panama Canal and completed 5 Trans-Atlantic crossings. She is looking forward to providing you with a memorable and fun experience onboard Destination Fox Harb’r Too. In her spare time she enjoys staying fit, reading, water sports, diving, travelling, and of course, shopping.

Jessica Moore (2nd Stewardess):
Jessica was born in Vancouver, Canada and grew up sailing with her parents around the beautiful Gulf islands. She spent many summers in Ireland and France learning the languages and getting in touch with her family history. She has backpacked around Thailand, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Australia, and Central America volunteering at orphanages and women’s shelters. Jessica studied at the University of British Columbia and obtained a BA in pre-Med studies, a minor in languages and played varsity soccer, and also took evening courses in Massage. She has worked in the yachting industry off and on for six years as a 2nd stewardess and masseuse on yachts that have travelled the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and the East and West coasts of the US and Canada. For the past two years Jessica has lived in Hawaii to pursue a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Jessica enjoys yoga, playing music, hiking, surfing, travelling, and most importantly, she loves to laugh!

Samara Douwes (Stewardess):
Samara grew up in Reidsville, Ontario, a small town with a population of 60. After graduating high school Samara went to Hairdressing school and has spent the past five years working as a stylist in two different salons and also doing many private consultations. She loves to be outdoors either kayaking, hiking, camping, or spending time on the beach. Samara has a passion for traveling and has been to Australia, New Zealand, Holland, France, Guatemala, Alaska, and British Columbia. She is enjoying learning the ropes in the yachting industry and welcomes everyone aboard with a big smile.

Ben Mercier (Chef):
Ben is from Quebec, Canada. He began his culinary career at the age of 19. He travelled the world from Japan, Africa, France and Bermuda where he saw his first “Big White Boat” and knew he wanted to work onboard. Ben is inspired every day by the limitless possibilities in the galley and the opportunity to cook with the highest quality ingredients. Chef Ben will delight you with his creative style.
