Captain: Cameron Warren

Crew Profiles: Cameron and Rhonda hail from Alberta Canada and their passion for sailing and adventure has driven them to pursue a diverse range of sailing locations and experiences. One of their favorite sailing sites is the British Virgin Islands where they hope to share their excitement for the region and all it has to offer with their guests aboard Quest.
Cameron has been sailing most of his life, beginning at age 12 aboard his family’s sailboat in Vancouver and later competing nationally on the British Columbia Provincial sailing team. He has crewed in numerous distance and offshore races in the Pacific Northwest and is MCA certified. Prior to skippering Quest, Cameron spent many years in the marine shipping and transportation industry in a variety of roles. When not on the water, Cameron, enjoys being in the water and is a PADI Divemaster with many specialties. He has been diving since 1988. His skill, professionalism and enthusiasm makes for a fun and safe sailing vacation.
Rhonda is also an avid sailor, having completed numerous Canadian Yachting Association certifications and the Master of Yachts 200 Gross Ton (Mate) qualification. Her passion for sailing is matched by her enthusiasm for cooking and entertaining. Her use of fresh local ingredients to add local flavor to her dishes makes for a wonderful dining experience. Prior to boarding Quest, she spent 12 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative and before that worked in the horse industry as a Canadian Equestrian Federation riding coach. She is also a PADI Open Water Diver.
This outgoing and personable couple have a variety of interests outside of sailing including fly fishing, horse racing, travelling and horseback riding, to name a few. Come and enjoy their western hospitality and the vacation of a lifetime in a beautiful Caribbean setting!

Dave and Desirée Bean
Dave & Desiree hail from South Africa and are both qualified RYA Yacht Skippers and have sailed on the east and west coast of South Africa. Sailing is a passion of theirs, as is diving,
cooking, entertaining and having a lot of fun.
On the diving side, Desiree is an Assistant Instructor, enjoys her underwater photography and is an avid conservationist. Dave is an Instructor who can teach 28 specialties all the way up to assistant instructor and he really enjoys introducing people to the underwater world. Both have been on marine biology courses and have a fairly good knowledge of the amazing creatures inhabiting the underwater world. They are also Scuba Rangers Instructors and can introduce children from 8 to 10 to scuba diving in controlled environments. They sold their popular dive center in Mozambique to combine one passion with another on Quest
Both Dave & Desiree have a wealth of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry which collectively have made them a very good team. They create a relaxed & warm atmosphere, and having raised 4 children together, also have lots of energy to keep their younger guests well entertained.
Desiree is a gifted chef and besides owning a well known seafood restaurant in the renowned diving area of Aliwal Shoal, she has also managed others. She is adept at creating
dishes from many parts of the world, having traveled to most of these countries, from Italian pastas to mouth watering Indian Curries, Thai stir fries to South American ceviche and more. Desiree is also a qualified nutritionist and owned a popular health shop many years ago.
Dave was an entertainer for many years prior to the more serious side of needing to earn a living and has also traveled the world. Fun is a BIG part of Dave's daily routine and he can be quite entertaining.
Desiree's hobbies include parachuting, bungy jumping and other adrenaline activities. She was also a Karate Instructor and triathlete. Desiree speaks english, afrikaans, zulu and a little spanish and portuguese.
Dave's hobbies include IT, woodwork and fixing things. He speaks a few languages, including english, spanish, dutch, afrikaans, a little portuguese, german and italian.
They have a motto - "Arrive as guests - leave as good friends". Dave & Desiree look forward to welcoming you aboard Quest.
